Soulfest 2015 Lineup Announced

Hold onto your butts hip-hop fans, because the first lineup announcement for Soulfest 2015 has just dropped. The October festival of rap and neo-soul will be headed up by the queen of hip-hop herself, Mary J. Blige, along with Jill Scott and De La Soul.

Also gracing the bill will be the Gap Band’s Charlie Wilson, who has recently become a frequent collaborator of Kanye West, R&B duo Floetry, Melbourne’s hip-hop rising star, Remi, soul man Eric Benet and scores more.

Over 25 live acts and DJs will be trotted out across two stages and a DJ marquee in a whopping 10 hour extravaganza. Festival dates have been penciled in for Sydney and Melbourne, with sideshow announcements for Brisbane and Perth to be made later on this year.

Soulfest 2015 will also feature a VIP Platinum Club, with a ticket to the club giving its owner access to the best stage views, private full bar service, express VIP lane entry, a Soulfest Tour t-shirt and free entry into their city’s official after party.

This year, organisers are also introducing a part-payment ticketing system which will allow punters to pay off the price of their ticket over weekly, fortnightly or monthly installments.

A second Soulfest 2015 lineup announcement is also expected to drop in the not-too-distant future.
