Soulfest Is Returning In 2015, Lineup Announced Next Week

Mark your calendars, kids — Soulfest is coming back for another round this year, and a huge chunk of the 2015 festival lineup is going to be announced next Tuesday, 12th May at 11am.

Promoter John Denison has confirmed to Music Feeds that next week’s announcement will include all your need-to-know festival details including dates, ticketing information and about “90 per cent” of the lineup.

“Open up a blank book, have a think about who you’d love to see there and I bet you three or four are there,” he said. “That’s the best way to do it, that’s how we did it.”

Soulfest 2014‘s lineup included such neo-soul, jazz and hip-hop heavyweights as Common, D’Angelo, Mos Def, Angie Stone, Aloe Black and Maxwell.

The festival also faced a couple of logistical snags including Mos Def missing a couple of shows and problems with the festival’s local stage in Melbourne.

Hopefully they’ve got all the kinks ironed out this year because from all accounts it’s going to be a big one. Stay tuned.
