The Southbound 2016 lineup has been expanded once again, with the addition of a hand-picked winner from triple j Unearthed.
Say hello to the cherry on top of the Busselton bash’s bill: local Perth duo The Money War.
The band is made up of Carmen Pepper (formerly of The Warning Birds) and Dylan Ollivierre (formerly of Rainy Day Women), but you can expect to see them performing as a five-piece at the fest.
The gritty indie rockers join a gargantuan bill that also features the likes of Sticky Fingers, Phantogram, Hot Chip (DJs), Catfish And The Bottlemen, Peaches, Tash Sultana, Tkay Maidza, Hermitude and about three small festivals worth of others.
But this ain’t no boutique bushwhack, this is Southbound, a three-day megafest packed with comedy, circus and cabaret acts plus it’s biggest music lineup ever.
Southbound 2016 is going down during slightly different dates this year, with the festival moving from post-NYE to before Christmas. Check out the full lineup — and wrap your ears around The Money Tree’s latest tune Recall — below.
