The much-hyped Spice Girls world tour looks set to be coming Down Under.
The tour has kicked off in style in the UK and overnight the legendary pop group appeared to confirm that their run of shows will be extended to include dates in Australia.
Mel B – familiar to Aussies most recently as a judge on our version of The X Factor – shouted to a a huge crowd at London’s Wembley Stadium; “we’ll see you in February in Australia!”
The Spice Girls have famously never played a concert in Australia, having cancelled a Sydney show that was set to take place in 2008.
While no formal details have been confirmed, you can hear Mel’s announcement for yourself below:

In late 2018, Mel B told The Project she was “hoping” that the tour would hit Australia eventually.
