UPDATE 07/11/18: Spilt Milk Festival Adds One More Act To 2018 Lineup
ORIGINAL STORY: Organisers of Canberra’s Spilt Milk Festival have unveiled the acts (yes, there are multiple) who’ll be stepping in to cover for Childish Gambino, who was forced to pull the plug on his headlining slot (and entire Australian tour) due to a foot injury he suffered at a concert in Dallas last month.
Homegrown indie heroes Angus & Julia Stone will be stepping up to perform in Gambino’s shoes at the sold-out fest, which is scheduled to go down at Commonwealth Park on Saturday, 17th November.
Sydney deep house producer Golden Features has also been added to festivities, performing a bonus DJ set on the heels of the release of his debut album SECT.
They join previously announced acts The Wombats, Vera Blue, RL Grime, The Jungle Giants and more on the stacked bill.
To coincide with the lineup shuffle, a limited amount of re-release tickets will also go on sale from midday AEDT on Monday, 5th November.
