Following on from the huge lineup announcement for Splendour In The Grass 2016 last week; festival organisers have jumped in super early to launch the official Splendour 2016 mobile app.
This year’s app features the full lineup and artist information, event news and FAQs, social media connections and sticker wall. Closer to the event there will also be a planner, with set times and site map also available.
The app is a free download, and is available from the app store – however if you have Shazam installed on your mobile device you can simply use its camera button to hover over any SITG 2016 poster or full page street press advertisement and you’ll be instantly directed to a special mobile hub. From there you’ll be able to access all the SITG social networks as well as download the application. Additionally – for the first time ever – you will be able to buy your tickets using the app.
And if you’re wondering what on earth the sticker wall is for – you’ll be happy to learn that fans can enter the #stuckonsplendour competition, with the winner set to receive tickets for themselves and three mates. To enter, you’ll need to post a picture to Instagram incorporating some of the stickers from the app – then hashtag #stuckonsplendour and tag @splendourinthegrass, with your profile set to public.
Entries close 11:58am AEST on Wednesday, 20th April with the winner to be announced 5pm that same day.

Single Day Tickets (Friday, Saturday or Sunday): $159 + booking fees
Camping Ticket (Wednesday to Monday): $120 + booking fees
