We’re just a couple weeks out from Splendour in the Grass making its glorious comeback. After two years of pandemic-related cancellations, the festival will return to North Byron Parklands between Thursday, 21st and Sunday, 24th July. The event organisers have now revealed the all-important set times, along with a few last-minute changes to the lineup.
In a press statement, organisers said they’ve “received word” that previously-billed acts Surfaces, Mako Road and Adrian Eagle are no longer able to make it to Byron for this year’s event.
Surfaces, Mako Road and Adrian Eagle Are Out, Pond and Tasman Keith Are In
To fill the gap, Splendour has added Fremantle psych-rock eccentrics Pond along with fast-rising rapper Tasman Keith – whose debut album A Colour Undone arrives 8th July – to the lineup.
Pond and Keith join a bill that includes international heavyweights like Gorillaz, The Strokes, Tyler, the Creator, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Glass Animals and Liam Gallagher, along with homegrown faves such as DMA’S, Violent Soho, Amyl and the Sniffers, Cub Sport, Genesis Owusu, The Jungle Giants, Baker Boy and many, many more.
