Spotify has announced a video series ‘Traffic Jam’ that puts rappers and producers in a car and challenges them to make a song.
It’s similar to James Corden’s incredibly successful ‘Carpool Karaoke’ series in the way that they’re holed up in a car, expect they won’t be singing along to known songs.
Instead, the rappers jumping in the car will be forced to create a song from scratch while they’re in the car. They’ll then be dropped off in front of hundreds of fans where they will have to perform the song.
Joey Bada$$, D.R.A.M., T-Pain and more will appear in the series which will run over 12 episodes.
Spotify has already dropped a trailer for the series and it looks pretty impressive, actually. It’s said to be “coming soon” although there’s no specific date set just yet.
Stay tuned.
