Roaming Aussie rock festival Spring Loaded has locked in its 2024 lineup, featuring Regurgitator, veteran punks Frenzal Rhomb, Magic Dirt, and New Zealand outfit Shihad. Kevin Mitchell’s Jebediah are also joining the fun, alongside Screamfeeder and electro-rock crew Caligula.
This edition of Spring Loaded will head to The Entertainment Grounds in Gosford on Saturday, 10th February. Aside from performing, Frenzal’s Lindsay ‘The Doctor’ McDougall will also act as the MC across the whole day.
Magic Dirt: ‘Dirty Jeans’
“It’s been so fun getting to play all of these excellent festivals AND be the idiot up onstage between every band, welcoming everyone and pointing out where the bars and dunnies are,” Lindsay said in a statement. “And after a few false starts (and some false teeth – this is a line-up full of 90s bands) Spring Loaded is coming to Gosford!
“And yes, before you ask, yes, I do introduce Frenzal Rhomb to the stage. It’s weird, awkward, and slightly embarrassing, but that’s kind of my vibe.”
Spring Loaded has landed in a bunch of cities since launching a few years ago, the most recent event being headlined by Spiderbait up in Sandstone Point in Queensland.
