Ariana Grande has had a pretty disastrous and traumatic 2018 to say the very least.
But she seems to be turning a new leaf with the release of arguably her biggest song to date, ‘thank u, next’ which serves as a thank you note to her exes, including rapper Big Sean, comedian Pete Davidson and the late Mac Miller.
She is also gearing up to release a video for the track, which is getting more hype by the second. Except now she’s gone and thrown some familiar faces into the mix, just in case you weren’t on board yet.
In case you don’t know, the video is going to be based around four early 00s teen movie classics: Bring It On, Legally Blonde, Mean Girls and 13 Going On 30.
Ariana has recruited two stars from those films to perhaps reprise their roles for the video. She’s got Jennifer Coolidge on board, who plays Paulette in Legally Blonde, and Jonathan Bennett on board as well, who will be taking on his role of Aaron Samuels from Mean Girls. Yeah, the one whose hair looks sexy pushed back.
The video is scheduled to drop some time in coming fortnight, so keep your eyes peeled on Grande’s socials as she’s sure to give us more clues as to what famous faces will be appearing in the clip.
