State Champs And The Maine Announce 2022 Australian Tour

State Champs and The Maine have announced a co-headlining Australian tour for this September, playing shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.

For State Champs, it marks the band’s first time back in Australia since appearing as part of the UNIFY Gathering lineup in 2019, and their first headline tour here since 2016. It comes in support of the band’s fourth studio album, Kings of the New Age, which arrived last month.

The Maine, who were also last here in 2019, released eighth studio album XOXO: From Love and Anxiety in Real Time last year after previewing it with singles like ‘Sticky’, ‘April 7th’ and ‘Lips’.

They’ll be joined on the road both by UK emo duo Hot Milk, who released their I JUST WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I’M DEAD in 2021, and Melbourne’s Paperweight, whose debut EP Green Lotus Blooms arrived earlier this year. See dates and details below – tickets are on sale this Friday, 1st July at 10am local time with a Destroy All Lines pre-sale kicking off a day earlier.
