Stereosonic 2013 Adds More Artists, Full Lineup Here At 9am

On Thursday morning at 9am, organisers will unveil the official line up for Stereosonic 2013. A little has already been revealed about the festival so far, including four confirmed artists – Zedd, Gareth Emery and just this evening Hot Creations founder Jamie Jones and Chicago EDM group Krewella were added to the bill.

The two new names were tonight revealed in much the same fashion as the previous two, with people “unlocking” their pictures via Stereosonic’s Facebook page. Those playing at home will know that Stereosonic had already added German electro house producer Zedd to the line up as well as one of the UK’s most prominent DJ/Producers Gareth Emery over the last two days.

All signs point to this year being the biggest in the festival’s history. With those four big names in conjunction with the knowledge that Stereosonic is expanding to a two-day festival in 2013, there’s sure to be a big list of international heavyweights set to perform.

Ticket releases shouldn’t be too far removed from the line up announce, either, with two-day passes costing a cool $199.95 with no option for one-day tickets. Also revealed recently was the news that despite the two-day expansion, there will be no camping facilities at the venues.

Last year, the event was headlined by Tiësto and Avicii with Calvin Harris, Example, Carl Cox and Major Lazer also on the roster so this year will be a tough gig to top, let alone beat, but in just a matter of hours we’ll see how it’s going to be done.
