Stormzy Announces Rescheduled Dates For 2020 Australian Tour

Under normal circumstances, UK grime king Stormzy would have been headed to Australia in May to perform a series of shows in support of last year’s Heavy is the Head.

Those dates have now been postponed in light of the global COVID-19 pandemic and resultant restrictions on large gatherings. On the bright side, organisers have supplied new, rescheduled dates rather than cancelling the tour altogether. Stormzy is now set to hit Australian shores in late November, performing shows in Adelaide, Melboune, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, with all existing tickets purchased valid for the new dates.

“I was seriously looking forward to bringing the #H.I.T.H World Tour to Australia and New Zealand and playing some epic sold-out shows however, due to the evolving health and travel concerns surrounding the coronavirus, I’m regrettably having to reschedule this leg of the tour,” commented Stormzy on the postponement.

“The good news is we were able to reschedule the dates for this coming November and December, so I’ll be seeing you before the end of the year. Stay safe and I can’t wait to see you all soon.”
