Stream Every Time I Die’s New Album ‘From Parts Unknown’

New York hardcore punk group Every Time I Die are currently streaming their seventh studio album, From Parts Unknown, in full via YouTube. ETID fans are in for one chaotic ride across the album’s 12 tracks, with fan feedback being mostly positive thus far.

Beginning with The Great Secret, frontman Keith Buckley screams, “Blow your fucking brains out!” Quite a way to kick-off an album. The release’s YouTube stream (below) also includes the previously released music videos for songs Decayin With The Boys and Thirst.

Speaking of the album’s creation, Buckley has said, “Instead of making something that the kids can all sing along to, we wanted to make music that scares them.” ETID spent a month doing just that with producer Kurt Ballou at his GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts.

The band claim that the album title From Parts Unknown marks the more hopeful mood which has crept into their lyricism. “I didn’t even realize I had that more positive outlook in me,” Buckley noted, after having to tear through his vocal tracking in a single day due to laryngitis.

Brian Fallon of Gaslight Anthem (who just announced their new album) and Sean Ingram of Coalesce have also lent their vocals to a number of tracks on From Parts Unknown.

From Parts Unknown is set for release in Australia on Friday, 27th June.
