Stream Flight Facilities ‘Two Bodies’ Featuring Emma Louise

Sydney duo Flight Facilities have shared brand new single Two Bodies via their official Soundcloud account. The song, which features some beautifully warm vocals from singer-songwriter Emma Louise, is the first new track to be released from Flight Facilities’ debut album Down To Earth, which is due out in October.

Two Bodies (below) was given its premiere on triple j on Monday, 8th September. The two brains behind Flight Facilities, Hugo Gruzman and James Lyell, told triple j hosts Matt Okine and Alex Dyson that their collaboration with Emma Louise had been conceptualised for some time.

“We’ve always wanted to work with her, and we kind of wrote Two Bodies with her in mind,” Gruzman said. “She’s an amazing songwriter and vocalist and she killed it. It probably took three days to record and then six months to mix. We’re perfectionists.”

Speaking of the song’s thematic base, Gruzman explained that the duo’s female collaborator really made the song her own. “It’s a lust song, they’re Emma’s vocals and lyrics for sure,” Gruzman said. “It’s about something very personal to her – I think we’d be in a bit of trouble if we were to divulge [without permission].”

Flight Facilities’ debut album, Down To Earth, is set for release on 24th October. The band will also be touring Australia this Novemeber. Full tour details available below.

Two Bodies is currently available via iTunes, and to stream below.
