Stream James Blake’s New EP ‘200 Press’

English producer James Blake has dropped his new EP 200 Press, featuring three new tracks of bubbling, dark electronica and one spoken-word musical poem called Words That We Both Know.

The 200 Press EP, so named because only 200 vinyl copies are to be pressed, sees Blake step into a more experimental electronic aesthetic than the one featured on his self-titled debut album and its Mercury Prize-winning follow-up, Overgrown. Think loops, tight beats and scarce vocals.

Blake previewed 200 Press‘ title track back in November. Prior to that, he shared new track 40455 in January, alongside remixes of Beyonce and Mystikal.

Still working on his third studio album, Blake has teamed up with Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and rapper Kanye West over the past year. Kanye may even feature on the album, if we’re lucky enough.

The 200 Press EP is out now digitally, with limited vinyl copies available via 1-800-Dinosaur. Stream the EP in full via Spotify, below.
