Fresh from uber-positive reviews last year, the Sugar Mountain Festival is making its return to Melbourne’s CBD in January.
The boutique festival will be held over multiple days and venues, including ACMI, Rooftop Bar, Polyester Records and Melbourne Central, with the main event taking place at one of Melbourne’s best venues (well, in my opinion anyway) – the Forum Theatre on January 19.
New York outfit ESG and US underground rapper Action Bronson lead the international contingent for this year’s event, along with Brooklyn natives Laurel Halo and Woods. Melbourne-born, London-based duo HTRK will make a return to their birthplace, with Peanut Butter Wolf and a special live collaboration between Kirin J Callinan and video director Kris Moyes rounding out the lineup.
