Super Bowl 2021 Halftime Show Performer Announced

The halftime entertainment for the 2021 Super Bowl has been announced. The NFL has confirmed The Weeknd will be headlining the half-time portion of the show next year.

On snatching up the coveted performance slot, The Weeknd says, “We all grow up watching the world’s biggest acts playing the Super Bowl and one can only dream of being in that position.”

“I’m humbled, honoured and ecstatic to be the centre of that infamous stage.”

The announcement came after a couple of teasers on Instagram.

Then overnight, the Canadian star officially announced the news.

Huge. The Super Bowl is set to go down on Sunday, 7th February.

The Weeknd follows up J-Lo and Shakira who performed at the 2020 Super Bowl in February this year.
