Supports Announced for the Dandy Warhols Tour

If you’ve seen the movie DiG! you’ll appreciate the nod to Brian Jones Town Massacre from The Dandy’s drummer, Brent De Boer, who’s wearing the BJM band t-shirt in this latest press shot.

If you haven’t seen the movie, do it. It’ll either reignite the same excitement you felt for The Dandy Warhols when you first heard Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia, or it’ll introduce you to an incredible and often overlooked band, The Brian Jones Town Massacre.

The Dandys are touring Australia at the end of May and have recently announced supports Los Huevos and The New Pollution. They’ll be touring in support of their best of compilation The Capitol Years 1995-2007 so we’re hoping it’ll be a good excuse for a set list of hits like Bohemian Like You
, Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth, Every Day Should Be A Holiday, We Used To Be Friends
 and Boys Better
.

Los Huevos have been enjoying an astounding word-of-mouth reputation as an unmissable live act. The four-piece surf/psych/spaghetti-western-soundtrack ensemble will be delivering their refined atmospheric-surf-rock-go-go dance assault in support of The Dandy Warholes in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

In Perth, The New Pollution will be unleashing their unique and edgy sound, a sonic lovechild of the psychedelic influences of the mid-60s bred with the rocky tones of the early 90s, thrown together with an entirely individual post-modern twist.

With many sold out Australian tours under their belt, don’t leave it too late to get your hands on tickets for one of these shows.
