Florida’s melodic indie rockers Surfer Blood have announced they will be releasing a new EP on October 25 through the Kanine label, according to Pitchfork.
The EP, entitled Tarot Classics will be available on CD, vinyl and download, and marks their first notable release since 2010’s acclaimed debut album Astro Coast.
Tarot Classics holds extra intrigue as it contains remixes from the likes of School of Seven Bells, Speculator, Allen Blickle of Baroness and the partnership that is made up of The Drums‘ Connor Hanwick and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart‘s Peggy Wang, known as Totally Sincere.
Surfer Blood will be busy touring for most of the rest of the year, including a stretch of shows supporting the Pixies and an appearance at ATP’s Nightmare Before Christmas in the UK in December. The band were chosen to perform by co-curators Les Savy Fav.
