Surry Hills Festival will return for its 14th edition in 2016, bringing one of its biggest music lineups to venues and creative spaces throughout the locality this September.
This year’s Surry Hills Festival will feature a multitude of artists and an enviable public art program across venues including Ward Park, Shannon Reserve, Crown Street, Tudor Reserve, The Clock Hotel, and in laneways, spaces and venues all between.
The music lineup is shaping up nicely too, with Melbourne producer LANKS, indie-rockers Hey Geronimo, Surry Hills locals Castlecomer and Australiana-nostalgia songwriter Allan Smithy set to play shows.
Joining them will be the likes of multi-instrumentalist and producer Wishes, as well as Dweeb City, Kahlo, Iluka, Professor, Pirra, Borney and Oscar and the Grouches, with more still to be announced. Catch today’s lineup announcement in full, below.
There will also be a return of the Pop Up Stage at Surry Hills Festival this year, featuring up and coming artists studying at AIM, while collaborative free public art and free workshops will also be on show.
Surry Hills Festival will take place on Saturday, 24th September. For the full festival program, or to volunteer check out the official website.
