Music industry mecca South By Southwest (SXSW) is beginning to take shape for next year, and hoo boy is it going to be huge. Even more rising talent has just been adding to the official lineup, with a choice selection of Australian artists adding some more essential Aussie flavours.
Melbourne troubadour Josh Cashman is confirmed in the new lineup announcement with the incredible Gabriella Cohen also impressing the powers that be. The bourgeoning folk-stylings of The Heart Collectors will be on full display too, as will the unique brand of surf-punk chaos inflicted by Hockey Dad.
Capping off the new Aussie additions is the always-impressive Mansionair and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever. Catch the full list of Aussie performers below, and the complete list at the SXSW website.
Today’s drop comes after the first instalment of Australian acts were confirmed for the festival in September, which was quickly followed up by a second announcement.
