Sydney music festival Bad Friday has announced the lineup for its 10th anniversary event, which will take place at a new venue this April.
The Easter weekend event will hit up Marrickville’s Fraser Park on Good Friday (Friday, 19th April), with sets from the likes of local boys DMA’S, international soul collective Jungle, Aussie plunderphonics legends The Avalanches (in DJ mode) and rock outfits like The Jezabels and DZ Deathrays.
70 per cent of the lineup consists of Sydney acts, and you can view the full roster down below.
Aside from the music, organisers are also promising “arcade amusements and some of the community’s best eats” on the day, as the festival celebrates its 10th birthday.
Bad Friday faced some criticism in 2018, after controversial Sydney band Sticky Fingers performed a surprise headline show at the festival in March. At the time, Bad Friday organisers Matt and Dan Rule described their critics as “clowns”, and defended the band’s surprise inclusion on the lineup.
