It was a year when the likes of Sneaky Sound System, Bob Sinclar, TV Rock, Fedde Le Grand, Justin Timberlake and that fucking song by The Potbelleez that Jeep ads have officially ruined for everyone, finished in the top 10 in the end of year ARIA Dance Music Singles Chart.
To pay tribute to such an incredible year of dance music, 2007: A Year In Dance is coming to The Metro theatre in Sydney. It’s set to be a huge party, giving punters who were old enough to go out a chance to be nostalgic about their prime, or for millennials to remember the songs that defined their teenage years.
The Melbourne edition took place last month and from all reports got a massive response, with party-goes breaking it down to Daft Punk, Calvin Harris, Justice, Groove Armada, The Presets, Muscles and a whole heap of other names, many of which you may have since forgotten about.
Catch details of the party, below alongside some tunes to get you back in your 2007 headspace.
