Hip hop star T.I. and rapper DMX have postponed their joint Australian tour, which was set to being in Melbourne tomorrow, 12th December.
Karma Promotions have confirmed the postponement of the pair’s three-date tour, posting to Facebook last night, “Due to circumstances beyond our control Karma Promotions and One Stop have to postpone the upcoming Double Up Tour.”
Everguide noted last month that DMX had published a now-deleted tweet (below) which read, “Contract hasn’t been honoured by promoters, the Australian dates with T.I. are now on hold. We will keep everyone updated when it’s resolved.” Everguide reported that “the issue has been resolved”, and on 26th November, DMX tweeted that the tour was “back on”.
Something has clearly fallen through once more. Promoters now say they “will have further details in the next 48hrs”.
