A new mini-documentary about Jack White’s Third Man Records store in Nashville has been released, and you can watch the whole thing down below.
The documentary was produced by The Vinyl Factory, and shows store employee Ben Blackwell taking you through some of his favourite items in the store, including vinyl catalogue reissues of music from the Mississippi delta-blues era, an exclusive live cut from Melvins, and some more contemporary stuff from local artists.
The record store have also announced that they’ll be releasing a unique guitar effect pedal called “The Bumble Buzz”, which is based on a special pedal made for Jack White to use on his version of Little Willie John’s I’m Shakin’, which featured on his 2012 solo album Blunderbuss. Have a listen to the pedal in action in the video below, where it is being run through a guitar and a violin.
White has been working on new material with his band The Dead Weather, as they prepare a new album currently set for release sometime in 2015. An album of Jack White covers was also announced recently.
