Tash Sultana Cancels Groovin The Moo Appearance

UPDATE: Tash Sultana has confirmed that she will perform at today’s leg of Groovin The Moo in Townsville, after missing yesterday’s scheduled performance in Maitland.

ORIGINAL STORY: Tash Sultana has cancelled her scheduled appearance at today’s leg of Groovin The Moo festival in Maitland, due to illness.

In a statement, the Melbourne singer-songwriter says, “Unfortunately I have to pull out of GTM today as I still have laryngitis & singing could risk permanent damage.

“Cancelling a show is something I’ve never done before in my career and I can’t explain how upsetting it is for me. Thanks to Groovin the Moo & everyone out there for sending kind messages over the past week.”

It’s unclear if Tash Sultana will perform at the remaining Groovin The Moo events in Townsville, Bendigo, Canberra and Bunbury, so Music Feeds has contacted the festival for comment.

Groovin The Moo is yet to announce a replacement act in Tash Sultana’s place.
