Following on from news earlier this week that Australia is getting a new “forward thinking techno” festival in Tell No Tales, organisers of the new event have dropped their debut lineup announcement, and it’s a doozy.
Headlining the first-ever Tell No Tales is Chile’s own godfather of minimal tech Ricardo Villalobos, with Pan Pot, Matthew Dear’s alter ego Audion, Agents Of Time and Nastia also on board for the event. It’s one of the strongest electronic music lineups to grace Australian stages in some time, and while it may be light on the local talent, it’s still early days, with subsequent announcements sure to include more homegrown musos.
Set to take over the luscious green surrounds of The Nursery at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on Saturday, 3rd December, then backing it up at Sydney’s Theatre of the Horse at Royal Randwick the next day on Sunday, 4th December.
