Homegrown indie-rockers The Temper Trap have announced that they’ll return to Australia later this year for homecoming shows in Sydney and Melbourne, where they’ll play songs both new and old.
The band will play 18+ dates at Sydney’s Metro Theatre and Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom in November, as well a a show at the Melbourne Recital Centre. The band will be showcasing tracks from all three of their albums, as well as a few newies they’ve been working on recently.
“We’re pumped to be coming back to Australia to play a couple of shows this Spring,” says the group’s Dougy Mandagi. “We always love coming home and we can’t wait to see our fans again! We’re looking forward to Australia hearing some new sounds from us as well.”
The Temper Trap’s new Aussie shows will be their first down under since their co-headline tour with Garbage last year, and they’re also set to perform at Queenscliff Music Festival in November.
