The 2022 Full Tilt Festival Tour Has Been Cancelled

Full Tilt Festival was set to host its second series of events this July, but the festival organisers have announced its cancellation. The 2022 festival lineup was set to feature The Ghost Inside, Underoath, PVRIS, Ice Nine Kills, Ocean Grove and many more. Events were scheduled for Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

The inaugural Full Tilt festival tour was originally planned for July 2021 but had to be pushed back to February-March 2022. The lineup included Northlane, Hands Like Houses, In Hearts Wake, Frenzal Rhomb, Slowly Slowly and more.

Full Tilt Organisers “left with no choice but to cancel”

In a statement, Full Tilt organisers Destroy All Lines said the festival has been cancelled “due to circumstances beyond our control”. They said multiple international artists weren’t able to tour due to rising costs influenced by global supply chain issues.

“Global supply chain issues have impacted artist’s global touring, including the cost of freight and fuel surcharge quadrupling in most cases and making it extremely challenging for them to be able to afford to tour in many markets around the world including Australia,” the statement said. “Unfortunately we could not factor these massive price rises coming in after we announced and went on sale with Full Tilt.”

In a more optimistic tone, the organisers said they’re “in discussions” with multiple artists from the Full Tilt lineup, with hopes of bringing them to Australia in the next nine months. Ticket holders will be automatically refunded their ticket price and booking fees.
