Melbourne lads The Bennies have announced they will be celebrating worldwide weed appreciation day on April 20th this year by putting on a “4/20 Super Smoke Out” show in their hometown, and we’re all invited.
The intimate gig will be held at The Bendigo Hotel in Melbourne on April 20th with support provided by Mesa Cosa, Curse Ov Dialect, Weedy Gonzalez and Big_Rimz420. If tickets for The Bennies’ March tour are anything to go by, it’s expected to sell out quickly.
The announcement comes as The Bennies get set to kick off their rugged, reggae-infused national Party Whirlwind tour this week. They’ll be serving up material from their second EP Heavy Disco, which dropped last November.
The tour and new show will cap off a massive few months for the Melbourne lads, who’ve just toured Soundwave’s national circuit, played the Golden Plains Festival and stopped by triple j to perform an epic TISM cover for Like A Version.
