The teams behind The Hills Are Alive and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel have announced a new music event, Hills City, and The Bennies are spearheading its inaugural lineup.
Besides the 420-friendly rockers, the lineup is also sporting the likes of Batts, Planet, Diet, Chitra, Tones And I and Hills DJs, as well as comedian Danielle Walker.
The theme for the inaugural Hills City — happening in the Corner Hotel Carpark on AFL Grand Final eve this September — is ‘op-shop formal’, so pop down to your local Vinnies to serve a fierce thrifty look that even Macklemore would be proud of.
This year, The Hills Are Alive celebrated its 10-year anniversary, and rocked a lineup featuring Alex The Astronaut, Boo Seeka, Luca Brasi, Alice Ivy, Kim Churchill and more.
