The Sunshine Coasts’s most iconic tribute to giant fruit will one again be the stage for an impressive list of Australian and New Zealand (and one US) talent as The Big Pineapple Music Festival announces its 2014 lineup. Following a successful sold-out debut this year, the festival returns on Saturday 17th May 2014 with crowd favourites The Living End and Bliss N Eso as headliners.
Joining those boys on the bill are Art Vs Science, Spiderbait, Violent Soho, Thundamentals and a whole lot more. Plus stay tuned for another headlining act to be announced soon. The now 13,000 capacity site boasts 3 stages, camping grounds and parking and is surrounded by Queensland’s lush rainforest.
Organisers say they’ve improved their bar facilities for the fully licensed over 18s event and will debut a new system to sell drink tickets online for optimum bar operation. All the other festival staples like stalls, food vendors, skateboarding and wakeboarding demos, vintage cars and other amusements are locked in and ready to go.
Tickets are $72 and go on sale Monday 9th December at 9am, with a pre-sale option available to members who sign up on The Big Pineapple Music Festival website.
