Back for its second year, Australia’s baby-faced touring festival The Drop has unveiled its 2019 lineup, topped by the likes of Angus & Julia Stone, Client Liaison and Hockey Dad.
The festival, which will follow the World Surf League (WSL), Surfest Newcastle and Vissla Sydney Surf Pro across five events between March and June, will also feature sets from indie heroes The Jungle Giants and singer-songwriter Alex The Astronaut, while Ball Park Music will perform exclusively in Newcastle.
The Drop will kick off 2019 with an event in Newcastle in mid-March, before taking on a new spot in the Sydney suburb of Manly and returning to Coolangatta, Torquay and Margaret River.
The “proudly local and environmentally sustainable event” is also promising “good food, art, family fun and community culture” at this year’s events, after making its debut in 2018.
