The Forum Venue at Moore Park Sydney has announced it will be closing its doors. Waterfall Entertainment, who previously set up the Gaelic Club before taking over the lease on The Forum have issued a statement today:
“The landlord has decided to capitalise on the success of Waterfall Entertainment and the Forum by negotiating a new lease to a national operator,”
“I am delighted with everything we have achieved at the Forum and I would like to publicly thank my team who have worked tirelessly to help establish the Forum as one of Australia’s best live music venues.
It appears the lease to the venue is changing hands so one would assume the new lease holders will continue to stage events, exactly what events they will stage is unknown but it does not seem to be all bad news.
There is no word on exactly why Waterfall have lost the lease, more info soon…
