Brisbane eight-piece The Good Ship will play dates around the country in November and December to plug their latest single Sin City Sweetheart.
The track has been described as a “sultry, sexy, slapper of a song”, which was written partially about frontman Brett Harris’ Las Vegas adventures. Upon crashing the honeymoon of (Captain) Daz and his fair wife in the city of lights and lust, (First Mate) Harris returned to his cabin in the Colorado wilderness, absorbed by fairy tales of forbidden fruits and punctual prostitution. It was from these images that he penned this little number on the passions of a man in love within a town of unfathomable pleasures.
The tour will mark the end of an extremely exciting year for the band. Along with constant touring and promotion for their album O’ Exquisite Corpse, the band have signed publishing and management deals and done showcases at BigSound and the Australasian World Music Expo.
