Having already delivered to quality and eclectic line up announcements, The Gum Ball Festival has announced another run of talet set to perform on the ANZAC festival.
Leading the third – and also final – line up announcement are John Schumann & Hugh McDonald of the political folk outfit Redgum. As it turns out, booking Redgum ticked a big box for Festival Director Matt Johnston who said of the addition “We grew up listening to Redgum on vinyl, and now to be able to invite John and Hugh to play in our front yard on ANZAC day is nothing short of an honour.”
The new list fits in nicely with the events strong Australia vibe. However international flavour is added by UK’s Turin Brakes, USA’s Eugene Hideaway Bridges and Kiwi crew The Eastern. And if you look closely, you’ll notice line-up covers an array of styles, touching on everything from folk to dub.
The festival will kick off April 25th to the 27th at the Hunter Valley’s Dashville (near Belford)
