The Hard-Ons w/Tim Rogers Launch Metro + Regional Tour This Week

The revamped Hard-Ons lineup, featuring You Am I’s Tim Rogers on lead vocals, will commence its first major national tour this Thursday, 17th March.

Rogers joined the Sydney punk rock vets in 2021 following the departure of drummer-turned-vocalist, Keish de Silva. De Silva was removed from the band in March, 2021, in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations. Hard-Ons members Ray Ahn (bass) and Peter “Blackie” Black (guitar/vocals) shared a statement with Rolling Stone Australia in response to the allegations:

“When we were alerted to the allegations we immediately spoke to both parties and heard what each had to say. We then encouraged them to pursue the matter through the appropriate channels,” they said. “The Hard-Ons will keep on playing, just not with Keish.”

Rogers’ recruitment was triumphantly introduced via the band’s latest album, I’m Sorry Sir, That Riff’s Been Taken, which debuted at #5 in the ARIA Top 50 – the strongest chart showing of the Hard-Ons’ 40 year career. Now, the foursome of Rogers, Ahn, Black and drummer Murray Rise are taking the album on the road.

Tour supports include Blushh (Gold Coast), Smudge (Sydney), Glitoris (Canberra), The Meanies (St Kilda) and loads more. Find all tour dates below.
