Now in its seventh year, organisers of the exclusive The Hills Are Alive festival have today announced the dates for their 2015 March event which includes, for the first time in the the festival’s history, a second night of festivities.
“To make this year’s shindig even more special we are super excited to announce that we have added a second night,” said organisers in a statement. “That’s right folks, twice as many good vibes!” The Hills Are Alive 2015 will take place at the “Farm”, outside of Melbourne, from 3pm Friday 27th March to 4pm Sunday 29th March 2015.
The 2015 line-up is also set to be revealed next Wednesday, 18th December and is expected to keep with the festival’s reputation for showcasing the best up-and-coming live talent in the country with a strictly “friends of friends” policy.
This year’s lineup included the likes of Newtown outfit Sticky Fingers, Melbourne producer Fractures and rising Adelaide MC Tkay Maidza. To be able to attend The Hills Are Alive, punters need to be invited by a friend who has attended previously or by one of the performers themselves. So we’re giving you plenty of warning, if you need to start making some new friends.
Passes for The Hills Are Alive 2015 go on-sale Monday 15th December through the Hills Are Alive mail-list. With all previous events selling out well in advance you’d best try to make said friends, track down “The Farmer’s Secret Password” and grab your passes as soon as possible.
