UPDATE 08/02/17: The full The Hill Are Alive 2017 lineup has been unveiled.
ORIGINAL STORY: The 2016 edition of Victorian festival The Hills Are Alive feels like it only JUST happened, and now we’re looking down the barrel of The Hills Have Eyes 2017, but don’t get us wrong, we aren’t complaining.
The ninth incarnation of the festival is now officially taking form, with today’s announcement of the first two confirmed acts: Cloud Control and Dope Lemon.
Toted as the festival headliner, the beloved Cloud Control will be performing in front of what is sure to be an adoring audience, while Dope Lemon, the latest reincarnation from folk-pop powerhouse Angus Stone, will continue to blossom following its recent inception.
Festival organisers have also revealed that next year’s event will feature a stage dedicated entirely to comedy. They’ve also told punters that the first full music lineup will be announced on Wednesday, 30th November.
