Jack Daniel’s is continuing to support the strength and growth of the Australian live music scene through THE JD SET. GYROSCOPE follow The Panics, You Am I and Faker, who hit the road for The JD Set’s tours earlier in the year. This year The JD Set has been to Perth, Busselton, Whyalla, Brisbane, Townsville, Sydney and Melbourne! This time around they will be partying the weekend away in Surfers Paradise on 20 November and Mona Vale on 21 November to end the year with a bang!
In true rocker style, GYROSCOPE, who are currently in a recording studio in Wales gearing up to deliver their fourth studio set, sum up the tour saying “We’re really looking forward to getting back on the road with some great new bands and the ultimate rock ‘n’ roll drink”.
Those lucky enough to get along to the 4th round JD Set shows will be the first to hear the band previewing some of these new tracks!
COMIC SANS were very excited when we asked them how they felt about winning; “Brilliant! We finally won something. We’re really excited to have a) won something and b) have that thing be a totally radical experience like playing with Gyroscope and The Salvagers as part of The JD Set. This beats the hell out of the house party we played last weekend for our singer’s mum’s 50th birthday. Thanks to everyone who voted!”
