Following a string of vibey singles like ‘Heavy Hearted’, ‘Sending Me Ur Loving’ and ‘In Her Eyes’, Brisbane indie-pop stalwarts The Jungle Giants have announced their new album Love Signs will arrive on Friday, 23rd July.
The fourth album from the Jungle Giants was recorded throughout last year amid pandemic lockdown, written and produced solely by frontman Sam Hales, who says he took more creative risks – such as taking influence from the likes of Timbaland and Ashanti in his production choices.
“It’s been a really good process, really self-affirming,” Hales says. “When you trust in your ability, and you trust in your heart, and just be really honest, that’s the best feeling in the world. The album is about all those little messages we send each other, the love signs.”
To coincide with the news, the band have also announced they’ll be headed out on an Australian tour in September, with support from Bag Raiders in DJ set mode. Check out those dates below. You can register for a pre-sale here that will kick off this Friday, 28th May, otherwise general sale commences next Tuesday, 1st June.
