The Kid LAROI will be hitting the MTV Video Music Awards stage with Justin Bieber next week.
The duo, who have a global smash on their hands in ‘Stay’, are part of the official cast of performers set to light up the VMAs stage for 2021. For LAROI, it’s an extra cherry on the cake, as he’s already up two VMAs this year – Best New Artist and PUSH Performance Of The Year.
For Bieber, he’s chasing a whopping seven VMAs nominations off the back of his sixth studio album JUSTICE, released back in March.
The collaboration between these two artists was always going to be a hit; both are absolute powerhouses in pop music right now, representing two fiercely loyal global fanbases too. Currently, ‘STAY’ has already been certified Platinum in North America and Double Platinum here in Australia. With events like the ARIAs still to come, we won’t be surprised if the song still has legs to it yet.

The event is taking place at the Barclays Arena in Brooklyn, New York. The MTV VMA’s this year will have names including Kacey Musgraves, Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow, Twenty One Pilots and Olivia Rodrigo also performing.
The event will be screened on Monday September 13th in Australia on MTV from 8:30am.
