The Killers Have Just Announced An Australian Tour For This Year

Much-loved Las Vegas rockers The Killers have announced they’re returning to Australia for a massive headline arena tour this November, in support of their recently-announced new album Imploding the Mirage.

They’ll be performing in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne on the trip down under to celebrate the new record, which is slated for release Friday, 29th May via Island Records/Universal.

No strangers to Australian shores, The Killers were last in the country back in 2018, performing a headline tour off the back of 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful.

To coincide with the announcement, the band have shared ‘Caution’, the debut single from Imploding the Mirage.

Promising a return to the heartland rock of albums like Sam’s Town and Battle Born, sixth studio album Imploding the Mirage was self-produced by the band alongside musical engineer Shawn Everett and Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado. According to a press release, it features collaborations with Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham, k.d. lang, Weyes Blood, The War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel and more.

Check out tour dates and stream ‘Caution’ below. Tickets are on sale Monday, 23rd March, with a cheeky Frontier Members pre-sale kicking off from Wednesday, 18th March.
