The Maine have announced their return to Australia for September 2024. The five-date run will take place as part of the band’s Sweet Sixteen world tour, in which they are celebrating 16 years as a band. A full run of dates and ticketing information can be found below.
The American pop-punk band were last in Australia in September 2022, playing a co-headlining tour with State Champs in support of their 2021 album XOXO: From Love and Anxiety In Real Time. “We’re always so focused on the future that we rarely look back,” wrote the band in a press statement.
“The Sweet Sixteen tour is not only a celebration of our self-titled album, but a salute to the last 16 years of our band with a career-spanning set featuring songs from every chapter of The Maine. No matter if you’ve been here for 16 years or 16 days, we can’t wait to see you.”

Indeed, since the band were last in Australia they have put out an eponymous studio album – their ninth overall. A deluxe edition of The Maine was issued in January 2024, including new versions of several tracks such as a “wedding version” of ‘Funny How?’ and a reworked ‘Leave In Five’ with new vocals from MisterWives.
