The Royal Wedding Is Going To Be Released On Vinyl

In case you’ve been living under a very large rock, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got hitched over the weekend and almost everyone watched it.

But, in case you were one of the four people on the planet that missed it or you just really, really loved it, the wedding of Harry & Meghan will now be available on…vinyl?

Yep, the wedding will now be able to be heard via your turntable and via all major streaming services too, through Decca Records. It has been mastered and mixed by Grammy nominated producer Anna Barry.

It does make a little sense, of course, given the amount of musical numbers the wedding included. Highlights were 19-year-old British cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason and the performance of the Ben E. King classic ‘Stand By Me’ by Christian gospel group The Kingdom Choir.

This is the first time a Royal Wedding has been recorded for streaming purposes. The Official Recording of The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is available to stream right now, with the physical CD being released Friday, 25th May and a special collector’s vinyl edition will follow.

Watch a clip of Kanneh-Mason’s performance below.
