Just last week we got news that Scene & Heard Festival is expanding from its Newcastle home and offering Cairns and Brisbane their own festivals too, and today the good news continues with the unveiling of the fest’s 2019 lineup.
Let’s just preface this by saying that if you thought triple j was at its peak 10 years ago then this festival is for you. The lineup is absolutely chockers with classic Aussie talent.
Across the three Scene & Heard locations are varying lineups but leading the charge across all of them is Wolfmother. With bands like Sneaky Sound System, Gyroscope, You Am I, British India, and Butterfingers, the festival is set to be an early 2000s beauty.
To top off the stack of sweet Australian bands, The Dandy Warhols are tagging along too — in between their 25th Anniversary Australian Tour.
