Melbourne outfit The Smith Street Band have announced a 2019 national tour, fresh from performing at the very first Good Things Festival earlier this month.
Wil Wagner and his new-look band will play headline shows in Melbourne, Hobart, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth between March and April, with support from New Zealand band The Beths and Brisbane trio Sweater Curse along the way.
After spending several months building their own off-the-grid studio, Smithies have promised new music in 2019, after dropping their latest album More Scared of You than You Are of Me in 2017. What’s more, the group will be showcasing some new tunes on their upcoming tour.
Smithies added Jess Locke, Lucy Wilson and Matt Bodiam to their roster earlier this year, following the departure of drummer Chris Cowburn in 2017.
