Hoodoo Gurus, Gordi & The Angels Join Latest ‘The State Of Music’ Lineup

The fourth episode of weekly live-streaming program The State Of Music will take place this Friday, May 22, and organisers have confirmed another start-studded lineup to showcase their wares.

The series continues after a 1 million viewers combined tuned in for the first three successful weeks, with Mushroom Group teaming up with the Victorian Government’s Victoria Together initiative for the program.

Each episode of The State Of Music features exclusive artist interviews, as well as live performances from Wolfmother’s Andrew Stockdale, Ash Grunwald, Didirri, Ella Hooper, Gordi, Gretta Ray, Hoodoo Gurus, Kate Ceberano, Kyle Lionhart, The Angels and The Teskey Brothers (in alphabetical order).

The Teskey Brothers’ performance was filmed inside the National Gallery Of Victoria, which is currently closed to the public but available to tour virtually.

This week’s episode of The State Of Music will be hosted by Triple M Drive host Jane Kennedy and Jane Gazzo. The action will kick off at 7:30pm AEST and you can catch all the action here.

“After the success of Music From The Home Front I’m thrilled to be a part of Premier Daniel Andrews’ and the Victorian Government’s vision to deliver Australian music into people’s lounge rooms each week,” said Mushroom Group founder and chairman Michael Gudinski when the series first kicked off.

Episodes 1-3 are available to catch up on, featuring Birds Of Tokyo, Diesel, G Flip, Missy Giggins, Montaigne, Vera Blue, Paul Kelly, Alex Lahey, and many, many more.
