Mike Skinner is bringing The Streets to Australia in March 2024. The UK alt-hip hop project will headline next year’s Golden Plains festival on Wadawurrung Country in Meredith, Victoria. The Streets will also play solo headline shows in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland.
The Streets’ latest album, The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light, came out on Friday, 13th October. It’s Skinner’s sixth LP under The Streets moniker and first official studio album since 2011’s Computers and Blues.
The Streets – ‘Fit But You Know It’
The Streets’ back catalogue stretches back to the early 2000s and includes the seminal LPs, Original Pirate Material (2002) and A Grand Don’t Come for Free (2004). Recent setlists have included many of the band’s best-known tracks, such as ‘Don’t Mug Yourself’, ‘Has It Come to This?’, ‘Let’s Push Things Forward’, ‘Fit But You Know It’, ‘Dry Your Eyes’ and ‘Blinded by the Lights’.
